BY POPULAR REQUEST - Second screening evening of two incredible films about fish farms of the world!Fish farms have been incredibly destructive in the waterways of Franklin, as well as globally in places like Greece. Join us for a deep dive into the world of fish farming—a story of hope and the fight to protect our oceans.
This evening is hosted by Peter George, Federal Independent candidate for Franklin, who has been a staunch advocate for protecting Tasmania's waterways from the destructive impacts of salmon farming.
Join us for a screening of two films:
📽️ "Sanctuary of Poseidon" – A 45-minute documentary from LOWCoAU about the Greek island of Poros, which is under threat from industrial fish farming.
📽️ "North by Northwest" – What are the implications for northern Tasmania if proposed salmon farms go ahead? Hear directly from the communities fighting to protect their waters.
The ticket cost will cover some delicious nibbles and refreshments.
