Melodious Thunk is a collaboration with developing musicians from NSW and SA to break down the barriers between genres in this celebration of the symphonic wind ensemble.
Featuring performances by and in collaboration with Adelaide Youth Orchestras Symphonic Winds and Killarney Heights High School (NSW), AWO plays classic works by David Maslanka, Clifton Williams, Brian Hogg, and Leonard Bernstein as we traverse the colourful history of the US band repertoire - inspired by the sacred to the profane, across genres.
