Learn to sing a cappella with The Baden Street Singers!In this catered, full-day workshop, secondary school-aged kids are welcomed to join the highly decorated Perth chorus to experience what it's like to sing in a choir.
Over the course of the day, they'll learn two a cappella arrangements, including a special commission just for this event. Covering skills such as breath support, creating connected sound and vocal placement, this workshop will serve as both an excellent introduction to choral singing for beginners and a great development opportunity for those already involved in music. At the end of the day, participants will have the opportunity to perform what they have learned to family and friends!
The workshop is open to all experience levels, though kids who can read music or sing may gain more from the session. All music for the event will be made available at the workshop, and lunch will also be provided for all participants.
