Batten Disease is a rare, fatal neurological disorder that robs children of their abilities—causing seizures, vision loss, cognitive decline, and loss of motor function. It has no cure, no treatment, and leads to an early, heartbreaking death. Isla Hunter, the only known child in Australia with CLN1 Batten Disease, has already surpassed the typical life expectancy of five and will turn six in May. But the disease has taken everything from her—she suffers hundreds of seizures daily, is completely dependent on care, and has less brain activity than a newborn.Her parents, Harley and Nikita, are doing everything they can to give Isla love and dignity in the time she has left. But with Harley working 5-6 days a week, they need support. The Trivia Night Fundraiser will help ease their financial burden, allowing them to spend more time making precious memories. Every dollar raised helps give them more time together—and right now, that’s priceless. 💜
