Mac.Rob International Ball | 2025 (SOLD OUT)

The International Ball celebrates the rich diversity of our school community. Bringing together student groups and performers, partner organisations, teachers and support staff, and families, the International Ball is an opportunity for our school community to relax, connect, and celebrate who we are and where we come from.
This fun, informal, family-friendly night features a delicious international buffet dinner (including self-serve entree, main, and dessert), performances from student dance groups and musicians, and plenty of games and activities to entertain young and old.
All members of the Mac.Rob school community - students, families, siblings and staff - are warmly welcome to attend.
Please note that this event is restricted to members of the Mac.Rob community; the general public are not permitted at this event. No admittance will be granted without a ticket.
This is an alcohol-free event.

Mac.Rob International Ball | 2025
When: Friday, May 23rd| 5:00pm - 9:00pm
Doors open 5:00pm. Formalities commence 5:30pm. Evening concludes 9:00pm.
Where: St Kilda Town Hall, 99A Carlisle Street, St Kilda, Victoria 3182
Tickets: $40 Adult & Student (all tickets are a flat price).
- Ticket sales close Friday, May 16th. Tickets will not be available for purchase on the night.
Dress Code: Smart-casual. Cultural dress is encouraged.
Seating: Guests will be seated in tables of ten (10). Guests may select which table they wish to sit on when selecting their tickets. Specific seating requests will be accommodated wherever possible but will depend on the table sizes and total event attendance numbers.

Is the International Ball a formal event?
The dress code of the International Ball is 'smart-casual', and you may choose to wear cultural attire if you wish.
Do I have to wear cultural attire to attend?
No, you do not! Cultural attire is encouraged, but not compulsory. Don't stress about buying new clothing; you are free to express your personality while keeping to the event's dress code (smart casual).
If I choose to wear cultural clothing, does it have to be from my own culture?
No, it doesn't. You can choose to wear any cultural clothing, provided that it is in good taste and is a positive affirmation of that culture.
Can my friends who are not from Mac.Rob attend the International Ball?
No, they cannot. This event is exclusively for Mac.Rob students and families.
Can I buy more raffle tickets on the night?
Yes, you can. Each ticket-holder is entitled to a single raffle ticket as part of their ticket price, but you may purchase more on the night if you wish.
What music will the DJ play?
The DJ will play pop music from a playlist created by students.

Accessing the Venue
The St Kilda Town Hall is located close to the happening precincts of Carlisle, Acland and Fitzroy Streets, the CBD and with easy access to public transport and off-street parking.
- Car Parking: There is no dedicated guest parking available at St Kilda Town Hall. However, there is residential parking surrounding the town hall, all parking restriction signs must always be adhered to.
- Train: The Townhall is an 8-minute walk from Balaclava station.
- Tram: Take tram 67 and alight at stop 35, or Tram 3 and 15 and alight at stop 36. These stops are a 3 minute walk from the venue.

Our community is made up of a diverse range of people, including those with underlying health conditions. All members of Mac.Rob's community are entitled to enjoy our school events without fear for their personal health and safety. While current health settings may permit a range of activities, please consider the wellbeing of others when attending this event:
- This is an indoor event. Capacity for this event is limited; bookings are essential, and entry will not be granted without a booking.
- We recommend attendees wear a high-quality, well-fitted face mask (i.e. an N95 mask) while indoors.
- We recommend attendees test themselves for COVID using a rapid-antigen test prior to attending this event.
- Please stay home if you are unwell, have been in contact with a COVID-positive person, or have a COVID-positive family member isolating in your home.

COVID Refund Policy: If you are unable to attend this event due to testing positive for COVID, please contact us and we will facilitate a ticket transfer for you.
