This lecture dives into the Monash Brave Conversations Project, a groundbreaking initiative designed to tackle those very questions. It’s about creating spaces where people can engage with tough topics—politics, identity, ethics—without falling into the usual traps of blame or avoidance. Drawing on real-life examples, we’ll explore how to cultivate empathy, ask better questions, and invite curiosity back into dialogue, all while navigating the discomfort that comes with honest, challenging conversations.
