Händel's perennially popular oratorio, 'Messiah', describes the Nativity, Passion, Resurrection and Ascension of our Lord, Jesus Christ, and contains some of the most moving and uplifting music ever written.The performance will be directed by musicologist and organist, John O'Donnell, with Australia's foremost baroque violinist, Lucinda Moon, leading Accademia Arcadia - some of Melbourne's most distinguished early-music instrumentalists. Soloists will be drawn from the professional vocal ensemble, The Melbourne Octet.
