Plein air Painting : A Meditation On The River with Maree

Come along to this autumn workshop exploring plein air painting on the beautiful river front property at Lower Mangrove.Join award winning multidisciplinary artist Maree Azzopardi and our host Johanna Bodewes who will begin with a Welcome to Country and walk on this beautiful river front property. Bring your canvases, drawing books, paints, inks, watercolours and charcoal and settle under a tree overlooking the river or on the river bank to explore your own painting journey. Maree will guide you through different approaches to painting and mark making to help elevate your work and introduce you to news ways to see and experience both the riverscape and landscape. A suggested materials list will be forwarded to students before hand or just bring your favourite art materials to work at your own pace.
Johanna our host will prepare a picnic lunch for us to enjoy beside the river while we continue to create. You’ll have a table and chair to position in your special spot or just wonder
