POLIMNIA reimagines opera as a living, community-centred experience — bringing it beyond traditional theatre through co-creation with schools and local communities, hands-on workshops in music, stagecraft, and dramaturgy, and international collaborations spanning Japan, Vietnam, Lithuania, Australia and beyond.
Rooted in the rich historical archives of the Modena and Carpi Conservatory, the project is building a new Italian model of community opera that makes this art form accessible, participatory, and truly for everyone.
