Adelaide Cantata Band - Passion and Praise

The superb Adelaide Cantata Band returns to Bethlehem Lutheran Church Friday night Cantata Concert and Sunday Vespers Service. Friday 6 September, 6.30pm-7.30pm: Passion and Praise Join us for all-Bach concert, featuring excerpts from St John Passion, the motet BWV 230 'Lobet den Herrn, alle Heiden' and cantata BWV 33 'Allein zu dir, Herr Jesu Christ', performed by vocal soloists and an expert Baroque instrumental ensemble including Baroque oboes. Sunday 8 September, 7pm: Vespers Service with Cantata. This is a free, unticketed event, featuring Bach's Cantata BWV 33.

Adelaide Cantata Band Ancient Brass Workshop

For our upcoming concert season, we are hosting special guest musicians from Sydney, Matthew Manchester (cornetto) and Ros Jorgensen, Nigel Crocker and Brett Page (sackbuts). This workshop is an opportunity to see and hear these amazing ancient brass instruments up close, learn more about them and ask questions of the musicians. There is also an opportunity for student ensembles to receive masterclass tuition during the workshop, and PD certificates will be available for teachers.
