The duo’s sound combines jazz, soul, country and blues elements for an innovative, yet smooth, interpretation of covers and unique original music. Guitars are the driving force for many of their instrumental tunes as the atmosphere shifts between smoke-filled jazz venues and the soundtrack to Spaghetti Westerns traversing the Mojave desert. The duo consists of Matt Katsis, an accomplished solo artist within the Australian Blues & Roots scene for the past decade and Nate Perry, a seasoned session musician originally from Ohio, USA. You can expect both a foot-stomping yet smooth, laid-back experience alongside Mojave Echo where Johnny Cash and George Benson meet John Mayer and the Meters.
