Diabetes WA offers a suite of training programs for health professionals combining the latest in evidence-based recommendations in diabetes care with self-management principles. Training programs are delivered by credentialed diabetes educators.

Person-centred care is at the heart of what we do, and this carries true for our training. Our programs are designed around interaction and increasing knowledge and confidence to apply what you have learnt to best support people living with diabetes.

Diabetes On Demand Webinar - Physical Activity & Diabetes

She delivers Diabetes WA's Type 1 Tactics program, which supports people living with type 1 diabetes to plan and manage their blood glucose levels surrounding exercise. The cost is $19 per person.

Diabetes WA Tech Night for Health Professionals

The Diabetes WA Tech Night is a one stop shop for you to have a look at, and play with, the latest technology, including continuous glucose monitors, insulin pumps and smart insulin pens. Find out how these devices can help people with diabetes, the features of the products, how much they cost, who is eligible for subsidies, what is the process to start using the different devices and how you can support people with diabetes to access and use the technology. Each company will have their devices on display, as well as resources for you to keep. Credentialled Diabetes Educators from Diabetes WA will also be on hand to answer any questions you might have.
