Gippsland Community Legal Service will introduce you to estate planning, including wills and powers of attorney.
They will discuss why it’s important to consider making or updating your will, and to ensure that you have other important documents like a medical treatment decision maker in place.

Join us for a talk with Christine Watts, organic garlic expert!
Christine Watts and family run Blue Sky Organics, growing a number of varieties of garlic on the Murrindal River in Murrindal, just past Buchan.
She will be joining us to speak about growing methods for organic garlic, including soil fertility, mulching, planting and harvesting as well as disease management.
This talk is presented in partnership with the Organic Agriculture Association.

Get an eyewitness account of the wild and frozen world!
East Gippsland local Michael Hinchey spent two years in Antarctica
at Macquarie Island (1975) and Mawson (1977) as station electrician.
Living for an extended time in isolation resulted in many interesting and exciting experiences with dog sledding expeditions the highlight of his time in the Antarctic. The presentation will include a 1-hour slideshow.

About the Author – Stuart Coupe is an author, music commentator, independent artist publicist and radio broadcaster who has been involved with music all his life. Amongst the books he has written, edited or collaborated on are The New Music (1980), The New Rock ‘n’ Roll (1983), The Promoters (2003), Gudinski (2015), Tex (2017), Roadies (2018) and Paul Kelly, the Man, the Music and the Life In Between (2021), which was shortlisted for Biography Book of the Year at the Australian Book Industry Awards.
