Occlusion in General Practice

This course is designed to demystify occlusion- an area of dentistry that can create a lot of confusion for many dentists. It will cover the anatomical and neurological basis for occlusion, biomechanics, how to obtain accurate records and use articulators, restorative tips for fixed restorative, implants and dentures.
Attendees will participate in hands on exercises as well as observe clinical techniques on patients.

Removable Prosthodontics in General Practice

This course will cover the use of removable prosthodontics in general dental practice. It will be an intensive 2 days with a combination of lectures, hands on practical exercises, laboratory demos and live patient treatment.

Advanced Occlusion- Principles into practice
Between Friday 19 July 2019 and Friday 29 July 2022
This course is designed to build on our "Occlusion in General Practice" course. Attendees will bring their articulators supplied at the previous course and they will proceed with tooth waxing exercises on supplied cases. In waxing these cases, they will learn the balance between aesthetics and function.

Fixed Prosthodontics in General Practice
Between Friday 26 June 2020 and Friday 30 April 2021
This course will cover all aspects of Fixed Prosthodontics from Crowns, Bridges, Onlays and Veneers to materials, prep design, equipment recommendations and bonding/cementation protocols. It will also cover analog and digital workflows and how to decide when to use what system.
The practical component will include prepping on models and other activities.

A comprehensive course covering the indications for onlays combined with clinical tips, techniques and design. We will demonstrate the preparation of teeth on a live patient and covering various techniques for impression and fabrication techniques and materials to allow you to get a better understanding of the workflows involved. There will also be a hands on component preparing teeth to help you apply the principles taught, focusing on situations you will encounter every day.
