After Dark: The Double Dole Stringband LIVE

Thursday 12 September 2024
Double Dole Stringband play innovative and driving old-time tunes. Holding down the fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar, and vocals both sweet and rowdy, they've become stalwarts at venues around their borrowed hometown of Naarm/Melbourne, as well as folk festivals across the country. The band ventured into the studio in winter 2024 to record their first full-length album, which they're excited to share with the world. When they're not writing and performing original tunes, you can find them playing high energy bushdances, running inclusive old-time sessions, and picking into the wee hours. Inspired by personal experience, political discourse, animus for police and love of native birds, DDSB will have you tapping your toes so hard you'll forget about your misspent taxes. Enjoy them LIVE for FREE at Greenhills on the 12 September 2024 - 7pm Booking essential. Learn more about them here: https://www.facebook.com/doubledolestringband?mibextid=LQQJ4d
