In addition to some of the new features added last year there are tips for wellbeing and how to study more effectively. A new QR code has also been added for ease of access to School policies and procedures. Whilst diaries are not compulsory for students in Years 10-12 in 2025 we would encourage you to purchase one as they contain valuable student information and are a great tool for students to use in managing their work and commitments. Korovian VS Students Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser

Since 2016, Korovians have competed against current students in a netball game as part of Year 12's final week, with a trophy sponsored by the Korovian Club. The event also features a sausage sizzle hosted by the Korovian Club Committee, with proceeds donated to charity. This year, the Club will support SAFE, founded in 2003 by Korovian Sue Hedley OAM (Class of 1972). SAFE rescues animals through foster care, aiming to replace shelter-based systems. With 12 branches across WA, SAFE has rescued over 32,400 animals, relying on community support to cover veterinary costs. For more information about SAFE, please visit https://safe.org.au/

A one-day, all-inclusive netball clinic for children aged 9-13 years (Year 4 to Year 7), designed to improve skills and maximise enjoyment of netball. The one-day program will be a combination of high-performance netball training and off-court activities providing a well-rounded netball experience for players of all abilities. The clinic will run from 9.00am to 3.00pm and students can be dropped off from 8.45am.

A one-day, all-inclusive netball clinic for children aged 9-13 years (Year 4 to Year 7), designed to improve skills and maximise enjoyment of netball. The one-day program will be a combination of high-performance netball training and off-court activities providing a well-rounded netball experience for players of all abilities. The clinic will run from 9.00am to 3.00pm and students can be dropped off from 8.45am.

All reunion groups from the late 1990s to 2023 when asked about their favourite memories of Korowa, many simply write Trek. For 30 years, it has brought a commonality of experience, forging connections and a sense of achievement amongst our current students and alumni. This celebration will unite our Trekkers, the staff involved in the program, and those pivotal in its foundation, all coming together on a nostalgic evening to commemorate the profound impact this distinctive immersive experience has made on the lives of so many in the Korowa Community. Purchase Diary

Diaries assist in developing good organisation skills and are a communication tool between teachers, staff and students. Whilst not compulsory, we would encourage students in Years 10 -12 in 2024 to purchase a diary. All students in years 5- 9 in 2024 will receive a diary at the commencement of school. Please note this Diary cannot be purchased from the Campion Booklist. At this stage we expect to take delivery mid-January and will contact all families regarding the collection of diaries prior to the commencement of School.

Students will need to provide a nickname to go on the back of their t-shirt, this nickname is subject to approval by the Head of Year 12 and students should note that they may be asked to change it.

A two-day, all-inclusive netball clinic for children aged 9-13 years (Year 4 to Year 7), designed to improve skills and maximise enjoyment of netball. The two-day program will be a combination of high-performance netball training and off-court activities providing a well-rounded netball experience for players of all abilities. The clinic will run Thursday 14 December and Friday 15 December from 9.00am to 3.00pm. Participants can be dropped off from 8.45am for a 9.00am start.

Generations in Jazz 2023

Korowa’s Stage Band and Vocal Ensemble will perform at this year’s Generations in Jazz, to be held at Mt Gambier, SA, on 5-7 May. To secure participation in the tour, a payment of $780 is to be made through Trybooking by no later than Monday 24 April. The cost covers accommodation, coach transport, event registration, entry fees, most meals (excluding Friday lunch and Sunday dinner) and a GiJ hoody.

Each year, the Year 12 students are given the opportunity to order a House t-shirt. By completing the form you are securing yourself a t-shirt to be delivered in early 2023. These t-shirts do come at a cost, which is listed in the form and they are not compulsory. Students will need to provide a nickname to go on the back of their t-shirt, this nickname is subject to approval by the Head of Year 12 and students should note that they may be asked to change it.
