A series of ongoing, fortnightly workshops throughout the year, held in the Organic Circle Cafe. Enjoy a relaxed evening discovering the wonders of watercolours in a comfortable, friendly setting. Miriam Atkinson Artist and Educator, will guide you through the basics of watercolours and how various techniques apply to the painting you will take home that evening. All abilities welcomed. Tea & coffee provided. A one off, basic materials list will be provided on registration which sets you up for the rest of the year.

Term fees $350 - all materials supplied. This course is an introduction to basic approaches, different material used in drawing, and gives beginners a solid foundation to work from. Great refresher course. We explore different approaches to drawing and the approach is a holistic one. We work on natural hand movements and learning to really 'see,' not just 'look.' The aim is to help you develop your basic drawing skills and build your confidence!

Extensive course for total beginners!! Have a relaxing evening unwinding and exploring watercolour in a cosy studio. Classes are small group size for a more personal approach and individual attention. Refreshments Provided. Miriam shares some materials as we go, but if you have your own materials, feel free to bring them. Materials list is given on enrolment.

Drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture are explored, and we look at different artists and techniques each week. Morning and afternoon tea provided!

An alternative course for those with a basic knowledge of watercolour, or those wishing to do follow-up classes to the Introduction to Watercolours course. Be amazed at what you and your watercolours can achieve! This course covers subjects in more depth such as composition, use of various mediums, papers, colour theory, portraiture, advanced effects and more...Course fees are $390 or a reduced rate of $350 is offered if you supply your own materials. Friday afternoons, 1pm-3pm
