Ourimbah Creek Mountain Trail

Ourimbah Creek Mountain Trail is a unique, custom built course nestled in a valley surrounded by state forest. We run events for all levels of riders and all breeds. Mountain Trail is a fun equine sport that mimics the challenges of a trail ride.

This day will start with an in-hand session through the Working Equitation and Mountain Trail courses. We will stop for morning tea, and then saddle up for a ridden session. Float Loading Clinic

$60 This is a 2.5 hour Clinic for fence sitter's. Hosted by Maddy Whitford, an equine trainer, who will teach you her tried and tested method of loading your horse, in a calm and safe way. She will be using a few different demonstration horses, and will talk each handler through the process. Hobby Horse Fun Day

Monday 1 April 2024
Come along to our inaugural Hobby Horse Fun Day. For all those Horse lovers out there, we will be be spending 4 hours of fun, with all things Horsey. There will be a Hobby Horse jump course, a Mountain Trail obstacle course, a scavenger hunt, crafts, painting and dressing up our gorgeous mini horses (unicorns) Bella and Sugar. We will be providing morning tea, a Sausage Sizzle lunch and snacks and drinks. We encourage the parents to drop and go, but for those who wish to stay, we recommend you bring a picnic blanket. You will also have the opportunity to purchase a Sausage Sizzle and a drink.

Wine and Cheese afternoon

This is a 3 hour afternoon event, in a relaxed and supportive environment. We will start with an in-hand session through both our Equitation and Mountain Trail courses. Once you have conquered the in-hand component, it will be time to saddle up to test your new skills. The last part of the afternoon will be spent relaxing with a glass of wine (non-alcoholic option available) and a delicious cheese board. Australia Day Challenge

A fun day for everyone. We will start the day with an in-hand session through both our W.E. course and our Mountain Trail course. We will have a lunch break where we will serve up a sausage sizzle (vegetarian options available), free of charge, after which you can saddle up for some fun on the course, ending the day with a mini challenge, to test your skill. Australia Day Challenge

A fun day for everyone. We will start the day with an in-hand session through both our W.E. course and our Mountain Trail course. We will have a lunch break where we will serve up a sausage sizzle (vegetarian options available), free of charge, after which you can saddle up for some fun on the course, ending the day with a mini challenge, to test your skill. This will be suitable to all levels as there will be varying degrees of difficulty you can have a go at. Come and have a great day out.

"Open Fun Day"- Saturday 3rd August

Saturday 3 August 2019
Our practice days are open from 9am - 3pm, you are able to book in 1hr sessions throughout the day. It is a prerequisite that you have completed a Clinic Day as this is an unguided session. Each ticket gives you 1hr on our custom built Mountain Trail course and working equitation area. You may purchase multiple tickets for the day.

"Open Practice Afternoon" Saturday 27th July

Spend 2 hours working on your Mountain Trail skills on our custom built course. This is a fun "Open Training" style session open to anyone who has attended any of our beginner clinics. We will be onsite to supervise and assist. This session is intended to increase your skill level in a flexible, fun environment. Riders will be required to show proof of personal injury insurance.
