PIPER PAEDIATRIC First Response Program

Between Monday 10 February 2025 and Monday 13 October 2025
The First Response, Basic Life Support Program is targeted for all Medical, Nursing and Allied Health Clinicians wanting to update their skills in Infant and Child Basic Life Support. The program will follow a systematic approach of the underpinning knowledge and skills of the Basic Life Support algorithm including; DRSABCD, medication and fluid preparation required for the first five minutes of a resuscitation, anaphylaxis and choking management in the infant and child. The program will conclude with a short team training simulation to perfect novice to mastery in the skills learnt throughout the program. All content delivered will be in accordance with the latest updates from the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and ANZCOR guidelines. 6 total CPD hours *Please note there is an additional trybooking fee to the listed ticket prices.

PIPER NEONATAL neoResus Advanced Resuscitation Program

Between Thursday 13 February 2025 and Monday 8 December 2025
neoResus Advanced Resuscitation Program comprises a theoretical learning package component and a practical (skills based) training program. This program is suitable for medical, nursing and midwifery staff and paramedics. We encourage host health services to select/nominate staff from a range of disciplines (midwifery, nursing, obstetrics, paediatrics, anaesthetists and emergency physicians) to participate in this program. Pre-Requisites for this program include pre-reading via our online learning management system. Details to access this will be provided in an email after registration is complete. *Please note there is an additional trybooking fee to the listed ticket prices.

PIPER PAEDIATRIC - Situation Critical Seminar

Between Friday 7 March 2025 and Friday 28 November 2025
This session is aimed at clinical staff who are experienced with paediatric patients frequently but want to upskill in their care for severely unwell children, so that they can adequately care for and stabilise children in their department until PIPER arrive. *Please note there is an additional trybooking fee to the listed ticket prices.

PIPER PAEDIATRIC - Advanced Paediatric Resuscitation (APR)

Between Friday 11 April 2025 and Wednesday 8 October 2025
This is a full day 8 hour face to face workshop where participants will meet the key performance criteria of advanced paediatric resuscitation, including recognition of an unwell child, Basic Life Support, Advanced Airway Management skills, Human Factors, Manual Defibrillation/Rhythm Analysis, Intraosseous Insertion, Reversible causes, PLS Simulation Scenarios following our ANZCOR/ARC Guidelines A light lunch is provided on the day. Please note the cost of ticket does not include the trybooking booking fees
