Cloudstreet, Year 10 Theatre Ensemble

Between Thursday 7 November 2024 and Friday 8 November 2024
Cloudstreet, adapted by Nick Enright and Justin Monjo from the novel by Time Winton. The Year 10 QACI Theatre Ensemble are proud to present their contemporary interpretation of Cloudstreet, by Nick Enright and Justin Monjo; a text that beautifully captures the essence of post-war life in Western Australia. This challenging and iconic text will be brought to life through the expert direction of Theatre teachers, Tony Brockman and Brad Jennings, with a talented cohort of Year 10 Theatre students who will bring their creative vision for the play to life in the QACI Theatre. Featuring a stunning set and technical design, this imagining of the text will draw upon conventions of Magical Realism to delight and entertain audiences. This play is suitable for audiences from Grade 7 and older; it contains some low-level coarse language and sexual references as well as mature themes.
