Prep Stay and Play Transition Sessions

This event provides the opportunity for students beginning Prep at Redeemer in 2025 to have a great time meeting new friends, working with teachers, and getting a taste of the Redeemer culture before starting next year. There are three stay and play days and parents may select their ideal time of the day from the times offered. Students need only to attend one session per day.

Redeemer Sport will be running a 4 week NETSETGO Netball program. The Netball program will be open to all Prep to Year 3 Students. The program will commence Monday 21 October 2024 and run every Monday for 4 weeks. (Dates 21 October, 28 October, 4 November, 11 November 2024) 3.30pm to 4.30pm. The costs will be $20.00 per student and all participants will receive their very own Netball.

Please note that all children in attendance must be able to independently use the toilet. We do not have nappy changing facilities.

Redeemer Yr 6 Canberra Tour Hoodie

This year, families will have the option to purchase a special Redeemer Year 6 Canberra Tour hoodie. These hoodies will be warm and comfortable for students whilst in Canberra, but they will also be a wonderful memento of the 2024 Canberra Tour. The purchase of the Canberra Hoodie is optional. Students have tired on a hoodie for sizing and will bring home a flyer with their preferred sizing. Should you wish to check the sizing, samples will be held in the Junior School Office until Friday 7 June 2024. Cost will be $49.00 including GST (plus ticket processing fee of 50 cents) Hoodies will be delivered to school and distributed directly to students in the first week of Term 3. Please note that these Hoodies cannot be worn at school after the Canberra tour as they are not an official uniform item.

The attendees with gather on Scurr Oval in the early evening to learn about space from an astronomy expert, and to find and view stars through a telescope. This is a wonderful experience for people of all ages, and a wonderful opportunity to learn and experience something new!

This term in Maths we have been working through a PBL assessment task where we have been entrusted with the task of establishing a wholesale food business like Lite n Easy and You Foodz. These are designed for portable healthy meals on the run that are fresh delicious, nutritional & cost effective for a selected demographic market with RLC. On Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoon from 3.15-3.30 Year 7 students will set up at Cafe 745. All money made by the students will be donated to charity. This event will be open to yrs 7,8 & 9 students plus staff to purchase.

We invite interested parents and the original members of the Parent Sports’ Reference Group to come along on Wednesday, 1 August at 6.30pm to discuss how Sport at Redeemer is progressing and how we can continue to improve. We will also be considering a new format for how parents support Sport at the College.
