Repair Cafe The Gap

Toss it? No way! Repair Cafe is a community service where volunteer repairers fix your broken things! This not only saves you money, it keeps fixable items out of landfill and helps conserve the precious resources required to manufacture, transport and dispose of them. You will learn some useful repair skills as you assist the volunteers to repair your item. Please only book one repair per timeslot, so you can assist with each repair. There is no charge for the repairs, but a donation is greatly appreciated to help us pay our expenses, like venue hire and insurance. You can also purchase delicious food and hot drinks from our cafe kitchen. This workshop marks our 3rd anniversary! To celebrate, we'll have a big cake, lucky door prizes and will be launching our Tinker Table, where kids aged 3 - 12 can have some fun while learning some repairing skills! We look forward to meeting you and fixing your items!
