In 1987 he became front man of rock n roll supergroup the Party Boys with great success including ‘Hold your Head Up’ and a number one hit with ‘He’s Gonna Step on You Again’. BLUES ARCADIA

Friday 5 May 2023
These guys are from Queensland if you have not seen them you should Ask and of the SA regulars that travel to the annual Broadbeach Blues Festival about the quality of the music Some words below from the band That “difficult second album”? Almost four years have passed since our debut LP, CARNIVAL OF FOOLS. Under normal circumstances, following up a record that opened at No 1 on the Australian Blues & Roots Airplay chart and attracted 4.5 and 5-star reviews might have been fraught with a degree of overthinking and self-doubt. But the past four years have proved to be anything but “normal circumstances”. During an extended break enforced by a worldwide plague that brought the entire music and arts industries to a standstill, along with lives and careers in general, the population at large also took pause to consider its future. Most of us at one time or another wondered if there was a future. THERE IS! Our new album NOW OR NEVER is out - we’re coming for you with everything we got!

WINDY CITY DADDIES CHICAGO BLUES BAND

Sunday 2 April 2023
In the first half of the 1900’s, African Americans from the Mississippi Delta and surrounding regions, moved north in search of a better life… many settled in Chicago Illinois, bringing their rich culture and music that originated in the deep south with them. By the late 1940’s, electric instruments and amplification were creating a new sound, a new form of music that still captured the essence of the earlier Delta Blues, becoming what we now know as “Chicago Blues”. One man has been given the recognition as being “ The Father of Chicago Blues”… McKinley Morganfield (Muddy Waters) April 4 1913-April 30 1983. The tough, harmonica driven Blues Band format that set the standard for the future of the Blues to come…. The Windy City Daddies pay tribute to this music and the artists who created it, taking the listener back 70 years, with their passion for the music and authenticity. Chicago Blues as it should be played, with conviction!! Doors 3:30pm Band 5:00p

KEITH SCOTT BLUES BAND

Sunday 26 March 2023
Chicago bluesman Keith Scott who has has played onstage with the world's most elite blues fraternity but (unfortunately) has a low profile here. The extremely affable Scott is making a trip to Adelaide to test the South Australian gig scene. Along with welcoming trademark grin, growling howling vocals and sheer blues guitar brilliance, Keith wows audiences with a power house of music each performance. The Club has scheduled a date on what is an exclusively South Australian tour so you will have the opportunity to experience a genuine Chicago bluesman. Keith will be joined on stage by a cast of respected South Australian musicians including CHRIS FINNEN - and we know Chris does not play with dopes! Doors 3:30pm Music 5:00pm
