Music is made up on patterns – Songs have a pattern in verses, choruses, bridges, refrains etc, tempo is a pattern, strumming is a pattern, rhythm is a pattern, chord arrangement is a pattern and chord construction has patterns. Recognising these patterns will make you a better musician. Scales have a pattern and learning that will aid you in chord construction and recognition.

Wrap up SPRUKE 2022 with a BBQ and a few drinks as you catch up on what you missed and have a strum. Held in the bar and downstairs of the club, its FREE to attend but please purchase tickets for the food. There’ll be all the usual BBQ favourites hamburgers and snags with all the fixings, and of course Kitty’s Bar to purchase drinks.
There will be an very casual open mic for most of the event while we all dig into our lunch.

Here at BUMS we have all the songs projected up onto a screen so there is no need to print anything, or bring music stands. Our set leaders are up the front on mics to lead you in the song. There's no pressure to know the songs, or expectations to lead, we welcome players of all ages and abilities- newbies to pro!
