This 90-minute guided walking tour is set amongst the dark and atmospheric night sky, exploring the grounds of this historic site by flickering lanterns, listening to stories that will capture your imagination.
Whether you believe in ghosts or not, this tour will keep you intrigued as the grounds of this historic site holds countless of stories and we will be sharing some never told before stories with you - exclusive to this tour.
This tour will be held in all weather conditions, therefore please dress appropriately.
Our Ghost Walk is suitable for 8+ years and above.

Embark on our 2hr Paranormal Investigation inside the countries only 19th century Military Gaol in Hobart’s Anglesea Barracks.
As part of the Tourism Tasmania’s Off-Season Campaign, between May - August 2024 we are offering you the chance to dress in a military uniform, stepping in the shoes of soldiers from centuries past while investigating the paranormal phenomena.
Here, amidst the shadows of the past, we embody the spirits of the bygone warriors, exploring the haunting echoes of history that resonate within these stone walls.
Test your bravery as we participate in ghostly investigations with the latest paranormal technology for your unique two-hour experience.
Access to this venue in the darkest hours in not otherwise permitted, so come along to find out who or whom still "haunts" these prison walls.

Our new and exclusive “TWILIGHT TOUR” of Willow Court is a captivating journey through the shadows of time, exploring the rich heritage of this almost 200 year old historic site.
As dusk settles, the atmosphere becomes intriguing, making it the perfect setting for tales of the past. The fading light casting a shadow over the high concrete walls, mirroring the architecture of the historic site.
Our guide will lead you on a 60 minute walking tour of the Barracks Precinct, sharing many stories, allowing people to reminisce and encourage visualisation.

Begin the night listening to stories of what this basement may have been used for, before delving into the darkness as you learn “ghost hunting” techniques by our experienced guides, using some of the latest ghost hunting equipment in the industry.
