Thursday 29 August 2024
We are excited to be supporting Cana Farm in 2024, through our TIGS Father’s Day Gift Stall. Cana Farm is an integral part of Cana Communities, a not-for-profit charity working with men and women, who have experienced homelessness, addiction, mental health issues, and other barriers that have prevented them from creating a positive life for themselves. The Farm is a place of belonging which provides opportunities to be involved in constructive projects which the community are then able to enjoy together. You can read more about them at www.canafarm.com.au if you’re interested. The following are examples of the gifts children will be able to choose from: Chipotle and cayenne hot sauce Spicy tomato chutney Barbecue rub Various jams Crazy socks and chocolate freckles A TIGS father, Daryl Duguid, is also supplying local honey and honeycomb. If we manage to raise extra funds through ticket sales, all proceeds will be directed to support TIGS P&F. Siblings are more than welcome to join in on the fun, and we encourage you to invite other families who might be interested in becoming part of the TIGS community.
