1,100 acres. Sheep and cattle property. Owners have planted and maintained thousands of trees on the property previously, with tubestock sourced locally.
The site will be flat cleared, fenced and ripped prior to planting.

Bathurst Mountain Bike Park Tree Planting

Bathurst Rotary and Bathurst Adopt a Tree, in partnership with Bathurst City Council and Bathurst Mountain Bike Club, have planned for the native re-vegetation of Council land that has been allocated for public use by members of the Bathurst Mountain Bike Club (cycling).
It is planned that each year 500 trees and shrubs will be planted and maintained by the Mountain Bike Club members and local Rotary members and volunteers.
The trees and shrubs have been grown by the Central Tablelands Landcare.
The company Oz Trees will be donating native mulch and equipment to support the ongoing watering of the trees/shrubs in their establishment period.
What to bring:
* Wear clothing suitable for gardening - including long pants, closed shoes
* Knee pads or kneeling mat if you need them
* Gloves
* Water, snacks, lunch
* Sunscreen & hat
* Mallet & shovel (if possible)
* Hand sanitiser
BYO Lunch. Rotary Bathurst will also provide a BBQ sausage sizzle and vegetarian soup with sour dough bread

Rotary and the City of Parramatta Council along with concerned citizens will walk from Mays Hill Oval to Parramatta Square on 4th December 2024, leaving the Oval at 11.30am.
At 12 Noon we will have a welcome by the Lord Mayor of the City of Parramatta Martin Zaiter along with a number of keys speakers discussing Domestic and Family Violence and how it affects business and our way of life and the long term associated effects on our community. The will be information booths from support agencies on the day
