Boccia is a truly inclusive sport, accessible and fun for anyone! Boccia is played sitting down. On the day of competition players in divisions using tunnels will play with hard balls and players throwing will use soft balls. Being a part of WADSA network can foster a sense of belonging. It’s all about joining in and connecting with others. THIS IS A SHORT COURSE EVENT. The WADSA Swimming Championships are open to anyone in Australia with a disability. You do not have to have an official classification to swim in the WADSA Competition – in this case you will receive a “meet” classification for this competition only. Swimmers needing ID cards should contact WA Swimming. Swimmers should be aware that there is no shallow end in the pool. Please see the images at the bottom of the event for Classifications.

WADSA Presents: The Act Belong Commit TenPin Bowling State Championships for 2024! Join us for a weekend of Friendly Competition, while staying Active and Mentally Healthy. WADSA is hosting SINGLES on SATURDAY 4TH, and TEAMS SUNDAY 5TH MAY. Please select the relevant date when booking. Commit by doing something meaningful and enjoyable for you. Whatever your passion, participating in activities linked to this passion can protect and improve your mental health. Blind Bowling Guide Rails, Bumpers and Bowling Ramps are available for all bowlers. Please indicate use of these when registering. If you would like to play in the team's competition, and do not have a team, WADSA will allocate you to a team. Teams will be made up of 4 players. A Vacancy score will be calculated for absent team members. The event is run on a handicap basis, with handicap being based on 100% of 200 Scratch. All rules will be played in accordance with Tenpin Bowling Australia Rules and Regulations

WADSA's Act Belong Commit Water Awareness classes are back for Term 1, 2024! WADSA’s 1:1 swimming lessons cater for people of all ages and swimming abilities. Become the best swimmer you can be, with experienced and supportive teachers. Term 1 will be running for 7 weeks, with lessons on Saturdays, from 3rd of February - 23rd March, exclusive of 2nd March.

Take Control of our remote-control cars, as you are put through your paces with speed and handling challenges! WADSA has a range of Remote-control cars, with various controls, suitable for all abilities! When involved in the sports – it’s a case of – the more you do, the greater the mental health benefit. What’s more, the longer you are involved, the greater the reward. It’s all about social connections and a valuable support network. This activity is open to all ability levels, participants must be 18+. A support person will be required to stay for the duration of the activity for behavioral and personal care support. Support Staff/Family are not required to purchase a ticket to attend to support a participant. please only book for the person participating as tickets are limited.

Work as a team to build a raft and test it on the calm waters of Kent Street Weir or take a more conventional approach and glide through the water in a kayak. Commit by doing something meaningful and enjoyable for you. Whatever your passion, participating in activities linked to this passion can protect and improve your mental health. This activity is open to participants 18+ of any ability level. A support person will be required to stay for the duration of the activity for behavioral and personal care support. Please note, this is a water-based activity. All participants will be required to wear a life jacket and should have a basic level of water competency. Support Staff/Family are not required to purchase a ticket to attend to support a participant. please only book for the child participating as tickets are limited.
