• Join us as we operate 2 of our vintage steam engines with heritage 'E type' carriages on the Mernda Line where we will operate 5 steam train shuttles.

• These shuttles will travel on a scenic return journey between Mernda Station and Reservoir Station, featuring two K Class locomotives. Open the windows and experience the steam era. You may also join us on our transfer trains from Newport Station or Flinders Street Station to Mernda Station in the morning or Mernda Station to Flinders Street Station or Newport Station in the afternoon.

• Come along for a ride on The Vintage Train for a fun family day out through Melbourne's Northern suburbs. 

• 5 x return shuttles will depart Mernda Station at 10:10am, 11:10am, 12:50pm, 1:50pm and 2:50pm. These will operate to Reservoir Station and return, passengers will not be able to join/leave the train at Reservoir Station.

• One way transfer trips will depart at the following times - 
  Newport Station (8:37am) or Flinders Street Station (9:09am) to Mernda Station arriving at 9:58am.
  Mernda Station 4:10pm to Flinders Street Station arriving at 5:04pm or Newport Station arriving at 5:30pm.

• NOTE: Newport arrival and departures is from the Railway Station, you are unable to board at our workshops at Newport.

• COVID SAFE PRACTICES
  Under current COVIDSafe practices, face masks are recommended for all passengers travelling on our trains. In line with social distancing requirements, we ask that corridors are kept clear to assist movement throughout the train. The government still recommends face masks on tour services however they are no longer mandatory.
  
  BOOKINGS AND REFUNDS
  Any passengers who experience any symptoms of COVID-19 prior to or on the day of travel, are not permitted to travel with us. Please contact us by replying to the email sent by Steamrail Victoria with your ticket details sent via TryBooking, to request a full refund of the ticket price* prior to travel.
  
  In the event that our train is unable to operate due to COVID-19 restrictions, all passengers will be contacted via the email in which was provided at the time of your booking. Where an event can be rescheduled, tickets will be automatically transferred to the next available date. If you are unable to make the alternative date, please reply to our email within 7 days and a full refund of the ticket price* will be provided. Where an alternative date is unable to be provided, a full refund of the ticket price* will be provided by Steamrail Victoria within 7 days of the tour date.
