As part of our focus on original songwriting and storytelling, Arts Rutherglen in conjunction with Indigo FM and Destination Rutherglen, present acclaimed singer-songwriter and soul crooner Joel Havea as he plays Live at Rutherglen Convent on Sunday 5 February. This show is a must-see with Havea featuring songs from his 2020 album Ki 'a Lavaka which explored his Tongan heritage as well as songs from across his career including recent single Feels Like July. Havea has spent the past 12 years based in Hamburg, Germany with occasional return visits to Australia and his family home in North-East Victoria. Joining Havea as support act on this show is 12yo Yackandandah country music sensation Jack Gregory.There won't be food or alcohol available at this event. Indigo FM will sell bottled water and cans of soft drink as well as merch. Joel and Jack will also have some merch to sell as well.
