About
Kazuya Ishida is a woodfire ceramicist from Bizen Japan. He did his apprenticeship with Japanese living National treasure Jun Isezaki. He has completed a 3year artist in residence at Oxford University, UK and has delivered many successful workshops around the world. In this 1 day intensive masterclass workshop you will learn how to throw Kaz's signature spiral forms, apply slips and extend your pottery knowledge working with a master potter. Included is half a bag clay, tuition, morning and afternoon tea. Please BYO apron, lunch and your favourite throwing tools. Basic throwing level required. Novice to expert welcome.
