The 2023 RRBATA Dinner will be held at Glen Erin Lancefield and will feature film and television Location Manager JC Strouts. Before moving to Australia with his wife and two children in December 2012, JC lived in North Vancouver, Canada. Vancouver hosts a rainforest, which is dominated by a vast mountain wilderness coupled with the Pacific Ocean coastline so JC grew up on the water and in the mountains. He spent forty years boating, camping, kayaking, fishing, swimming and bushwalking in a variety of Provincial parks throughout Canada. "In conversation", JC will discuss his successful career working as a Location Manager in film and television including countless big name films such as “The Sixth Day”, "Santa Clause 2" and "I Robot". Most recently in Australia, JC has worked on “Jack Irish" season 3 as well as "La Brea" seasons 1 and 2. This wonderful event, organised by the Romsey Region Business and Tourism Association (RRBATA) will include a three course dinner and live music.Location
