Esmond Choi - Transfigurations
Esmond Choi is an Australian pianist/composer, currently a post-graduate at the Elder Conservatorium of Music. He is researching how one can employ, experience, and enrich the understanding of oneself as musician through American Transcendentalism. Esmond has played for Jean-Efflam Bavouzet, Nicholas Mathew and Paavali Jumppanen, and is the current pianist for the Novus Ensemble. He has collaborated with numerous ensembles including the Elder Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra. Furthermore, Esmond recently participated in PianoLab, performing George Crumb’s Eine Kleine Mitternachtmusik.
