A unique opportunity to work with production potter Ellen Terrell whose breathtaking reduction-fired lustre decoration techniques rely on skills and knowledge fast becoming lost to the world. Learn first-hand from a master of her craft and benefit from Ellen’s many years of experimentation and fine tuning.
Ellen will also teach an integrated workshop in sgraffito, relief and carving during one of the kiln warm-ups, techniques exemplified in her own work. Ellen’s extensively researched lustre-friendly base glaze recipes will be shared, as well as her unique personal recipe for creating silver lustre, so you may continue the tradition.
