Deeply affecting, the video tracks three infants on a weekly basis from birth to twelve months in interaction with their mothers, fathers, siblings and other caregivers. Through the intimate and sensitive cinematography the observer is invited to ‘watch, wait and wonder’ as to the infant’s experience, as one would in an Infant Observation. The documentary engages the viewer to thinking about and imagining how the infant might negotiate their environment, with seminar participants encouraged to reflect on their own experience of the video and share thoughts and observations in smaller virtual ‘breakout’ rooms as well as in the larger group.Location
