megan evans has had a long career as an artist, working for over 40 years in many disciplines. In that time she has made many mistakes and learnt a lot from those mistakes. The path of an artist is full of twists and turns.This session will both enlighten and challenge you to examine the reality of what it takes to commit yourself for the long haul.
megan shares generously what not to do, based on bad decisions she made, and how to plot a future that will become a life's path not a quick fix to fame and fortune.
About the presenter
dr. megan evans is a multidisciplinary artist, working in video, photography, sculpture, and installation. megan's work is informed by social issues, examining the nature of belonging and the impact of colonisation on identity, both self and nation.
