This workshop is designed to pass on all the techniques that have revolutionised the creative process for your tutor, allowing her to stop the self-sabotage and experience freedom in the studio. Participants will learn the tools necessary to relax into artistic practice with bravery, critiquing at each step of the way and correcting what went wrong.  Let’s face it, art is all about making mistakes and fixing them beautifully!

The day will begin with setting up a foundation in Drawing Analysis before diving into working with paint, values, a limited palette and extremely limited time periods of working. Over the course of the day three images will be painted, including an object, a landscape, and a portrait, all in 30-minute blocks!

Each participant can expect to walk away with a workbook filled with information and tools, a minimum of three paintings and an in-depth understanding of how to get out of your own way and into the studio.
