Green-Wood Exhibition Opening Night
About
'Green-Wood' is the latest showcase of unique original works by six North Queensland artists (Pete Faulkner, Carol Giuliany, Lynda Hannah-Williams, Bruce Parry, S. Pullman and Patricia Voltz), known collectively as the "Green" painters. Formed in 2010, this group has exhibited on four previous occasions at Mission Arts with record sales and Opening Night attendances a key indicator of the calibre and appeal of their diverse works. Different mediums (oil, acrylic and watercolour) will be used to express various themes, including landscape, figurative and portraiture.The Green-Wood exhibition, opens on Friday, 21 July at 6pm and will be shown daily (10am-2pm) through Tuesday, 15 August. The exhibition is sponsored by Ruth Medd, Chair of Australian Chocolate, with additional sponsorship support from Mission Beach-based businesses Art Print Frame, Charley's and Mission Solar + Electrical.
