All VBM and DPM members and their guests are invited to the Victoria Barracks Officers' Mess for ANZAC Day activities on Tuesday 25 April 2023.

Event schedule:
0430-0545 hrs - Gunfire breakfast (VBM Officers’ Mess)
0600-0630 hrs - Dawn Service (Shrine of Remembrance)
0630-1400 hrs - Bar opens (VBM Officers’ Mess)
0700-0900 hrs – Hot buffet breakfast served (VBM Officers’ Mess)
0900-1400 hrs - ANZAC Day activities (VBM Officers’ Mess)

Dress Code:
ADF Members: Uniform for official roles, or Business attire (with medals if applicable)
Non-ADF: Neat Casual (collared shirt, tailored slacks and dress shoes for males, and equivalent for females)
NOTE: In accordance with VBMOM Local Rules and Constitution, clothing must be in good condition, not soiled or torn and be modest in appearance. The following are examples of unacceptable attire: shorts, gym attire, clothing with offensive slogans/images, thongs, sporting shoes, singlets and torn denim. Members are to ensure that their guests conform to these dress standards.

Children 10 and under: Free

Parking: 
As ANZAC Day is a 'non-working' day, access onto VBM with a private vehicle is allowed by all members with a DCAC, as such members with a DCAC can park on base. If you have non-DCAC holder guests in the car with you, we kindly ask that you drop them at the gate before entering, park your vehicle on base, then return to the gate to sign your guests in on foot. This is the smoothest process for parking on base and signing in external guests. 

RSVP and Registration:
RSVP/register by purchasing tickets on this Trybooking site NLT midday Tuesday 18 April 2023. For catering purposes all tickets must be purchased prior to this date. 

If you are not a current Defence member, and are purchasing tickets to this event, please email VBMOM.Social@defence.gov.au providing your full name, mobile number and the name of your Defence host(s), so that the Officers Mess Social Committee can organise your base clearance, via the Miles Street entrance.
