AICD NSW Classical Ballet Awards 2023
About
Awards are open to all classical ballet students 10-12yrs, 13 &14rs and 15-17yrs.Held 28th May 2023 at McDonald College, Nth Strathfield.
10-12yrs perform a classical solo or simple variation in costume (no pointe work) commencing at 9:30am, registration from 9am.
13-17yrs have registration from 10:30am for a 1-hour class 11am - 12noon, followed by 13-14yrs teachers solo or simple variation in costume at 12:15pm and lastly, 15-17yrs to performance of a variation from classical repertoire in costume at 1pm, finishing with award presentation.
Age for each group is taken from the day of the awards, 28th May.
Solo music (2min, 30 sec approx.) must sent as Mp3 to nsw.aicd@ballet.org.au not later than 23rd May 2023.
Awards:
10-12yrs - 1st $300, 2nd $200, 3rd $100
13-14yrs - 1st $400, 2nd $300, 3rd $100
15-17yrs - 1st $500, 2nd $300, 3rd $200
