This workshop will explore pastel application on various coloured supports and surfaces showing by way of demonstration many techniques and how to glaze colours for colour mixing. Design, composition, edges, colour harmonies working from still life and photo images will be shown and learning which coloured support works best with a given subject. The perfect workshop for the absolute beginner and those who need inspiration who already know this medium and wish to learn more. The workshop explores pastel beauty and many handy hints on pastel usage. The tutor will strive to take away any fears attendees may have about working with pastels.
