After boarding the train at Broadmeadow Railway Station, our heritage diesel locomotive locomotive leads South towards Awaba.  After changing direction at Awaba Listen to the steam locomotive working hard as it climbs famous Fassifern and Cardiff banks. Wave to the locals as we run past platforms, overbridges and plunge through Tickhole tunnel before arriving back at Broadmeadow.

Please Note: All fares are for same-day return travel on the same train. Passengers do not alight at Valley Heights

Private Compartment — $150 per group

Enjoy the benefit of an entire closed-off compartment to yourselves — great for families and social groups!

One booking is good for up to a maximum of eight (8) adults, or a maximum of eight (8) per compartment.

Family of Four -- $85 for Four people

Four seats in a booth with a table in a heritage saloon carriage.

First Class Single - $45 Per Person

Single ticket in a first class seat for one person

Full Carriage Hire — Call for Quote

Buffet Car:

We encourage passengers to bring their own picnic hampers. A small buffet car will be attached to the train where light snacks can be purchased

BYO alcohol is allowed, however, large eskys will not be permitted

Toilets:

Toilets will be open, but we suggest using the station toilets before boarding.

We have four trips each day to choose from. All services on the Broadmeadow Steam Train Rides pick up and alight at Broadmeadow Railway Station:
