St Michael’s College proudly presents ‘We Will Rock You’, a Musical by Queen and Ben Elton. This production brings together students from Years 3 through 12 in a rockin’ celebration of the joy and community forged through the Performing Arts. This electrifying performance will capture the hearts of our audiences. It is a celebration of the freedom of expression we can find through music and the important friendships we make as teenagers.

‘We Will Rock You’ takes place in a future age on a planet once called Earth, that is now controlled by a mighty corporation called Globalsoft led by super villain, Killer Queen. Rock music is outlawed, individual creativity is a crime, and all musical instruments are banned. The hope of breaking free rests with an unlikely resistance alliance of rebel Bohemians lead by two unlikely heroes, Galileo and Scaramouche.

This hilarious futurist comedy contains Queen’s biggest hit songs including We Are The Champions, Radio Ga Ga, I Want To Break Free, Somebody To Love, Killer Queen, Don’t Stop Me Now, Under Pressure, Bohemian Rhapsody, Another One Bites The Dust and of course, We Will Rock You.
