Our Great Ma(y)tinee concert opens our 2023 concert series.
This relaxed and varied concert celebrates the joy of choral singing and is quickly becoming a favourite of choir and audience alike. This year’s eclectic program features the captivating Lamentationes Jeremiae Prophetae by the Baroque composer Durante and Zelenka’s beautiful Miserere. These two baroque masterworks are combined with the contemporary masterpiece Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, a new moving work by Christopher Bowen and several other great works.
