The Seymour Railway

Locomotive S 307 has been stored at Pt Augusta for some years and arrangements have been made to bring the locomotive to Victoria ready for the SRHC to pick up from the SCT premises at Altona.

We have to acknowledge and sincerley thank, Progress Rail at Port Augusta and  SCT and Pacific National, for their co operation and support.  Without their input  this historic event would not have taken place.

Please note there are no booked seats on the train.  You can choose your own seat on the day, all you need to do is to make a booking , pay the amount using your credit card and a ticket will be emailed to you. 

Light refreshments will be availble from the Kiosk Car on the train.

Whilst we are stabled at Altona, all passengers must remain on the train, timed for 1.05pm to 2.30pm.

Times, ex Seymour 11.20am Return at at 4.35pm.

Times ex Broadmeadows 12.20pm Return at 3.15pm.
