With support from the Florey Institute wel again present the exciting film project, Into The Limelight. This great community initiative explores the link between creativity and mental illness. Its a collection of very short comedy film sketches written by acclaimed playwright Neil Cole, which features the involvement of people with a diagnosis of chronic mental illness.Neil, himself someone with lived experience of mental illness, has great experience in the creative world. He has written over thirty plays and numerous short films. He was joined by a professional film crew to support the aspiring actors encouraging those involved to gain confidence in performing in front of the camera. Previous renditions of Into The Limelight have been funded by Creative Victoria and screened at the prestigious St Kilda Film Festival in 2017, 2019 and 2022.
