WALGA is partnering with the Department of Communities to deliver a consultation workshop for Local Government on proposed reforms to Western Australia’s disability services legislation. The session will facilitate discussion around the key themes identified within the consultation paper with a focus on Access and Inclusion.
The Disability Services Act 1993 regulates State-led disability services and related matters in WA, including Local Government Access and Inclusion Plans. Since its commencement in 1993, significant change has occurred in the disability sector, prompting this review.Thursday 27 april
