The goal of the presentation is to establish a knowledge base for educators about the nature and components of word-level reading and the causes of reading disabilities. This knowledge base should assist educators with implementing the most effective instructional and intervention practices.Professor David Kilpatrick is an author, researcher and educator who has focused on the topic of reading development and reading difficulties.
