Join us as we transport you to the enchanting era of the Baroque; with music gilded and embellished, refined and structured, ornamented and detailed. This concert brings together four talented international musicians. Paul Chantrill, classical guitarist, Christopher Doolan, recorders, William Howard, cellist, and Kirtley Leigh, violinist. Together we form a quartet of diverse sonorities, bringing to life composers of the Baroque such as Vivaldi, Bach, Telemann and Rameau. Our concert soirée will fill your senses with the charms of this elegant time, when ballrooms and palaces resounded with music from chamber groups.Featured on the program will be a special guitar solo by Paul Chantrill, who started playing guitar at 9 years old and by 15 was teaching the instrument. He studied with professor Ron Butler at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music and went on to to play in a classical guitar duo for 13 years. He toured Greece as a Duo with singer Katerini Manolatos in 2016.
