With music inspired by Broadway composers like Sondheim, Bernstein, Porter, Rodgers and Hart A New Brain touches on the themes of dysfunctional relationships, life and death struggles and the healing power of time and music.
Faced with his own mortality, this is William Finn's semi-autobiographical account of writing the musical he thought he may not live to write.
